Evolving compiler flag choices to speed up industrial software, without touching its source.
Wireless Automatic Compiler Tuning (WACT), is concerned with using a Genetic Algorithm (GA) or similar search technique to optimise the choice of compiler flags to improve the performance of an existing piece of industrial software. This will be done without directly accessing the source code of the software.
