Allan de Lima is a PhD Student in the Biocomputing and Developmental Systems (BDS) research group at the University of Limerick (UL). He has a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering from Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ - Brazil). In his previous work, he applied Machine Learning techniques to assist in diagnosing respiratory changes associated with sarcoidosis. He is experienced with Evolutionary Algorithms, Explainable AI and multiobjective optimisation, and is currently working on the Automatic Design of Digital Circuits (ADDC) project.
