|Douglas Mota Dias is a Bachelor’s in electrical engineering (computer systems) from Rio de Janeiro State University – UERJ, and master’s and doctor’s in electrical engineering (computational intelligence) from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro – PUC-Rio. Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Dept. of Electrical Engineering – PUC-Rio (2010-2015). He has experience in electrical engineering, focusing on electronics and computing, acting on the following subjects: electronic devices and circuits, digital systems, computational intelligence, and high-performance computing. Current positions: Assistant Professor at UERJ, Faculty of Engineering/Dept. of Electronics and Telecommunications, and Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Limerick. Member of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (Rio de Janeiro Section).
