Project Title: Multi-Core Attributed Grammatical Evolution (MAGE)
Position: PhD student

I am working as a PhD student in building a machine learning tool called MAGE which will improve the performance of the Grammatical Evolutionary Algorithms. My role is to parallelize the Grammatical Evolution using the parallel programming techniques like OpenMp, MPI, and Hadoop, etc.

I am interested in the research areas Evolutionary Computing, Parallel Computing, Distributed Computing, Optimization Strategies, etc.

Myself called "Nath" joined as a PhD student in BDS group working under the supervision of Dr.Conor Ryan in the field of Evolutionary Computing. I am working on an Science Foundation Ireland(SFI) funded project called Multi-Core Attributed Grammatical Evolution(MAGE). My goal during this research period is to parallelize the Grammatical Evolutionary algorithm to improve the performance. I successfully finished Masters in Web Technologies from National College of Ireland. I had written a thesis called "Adaptation of Web Services based on User Preferences & Usability Engineering". I am very proud that I worked in one of the best Usability Labs in Ireland and the best researcher in the field of Adaptive Systems Dr.stephan weibelzahl. Before that, I did Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech) in Information Technology(I.T) in Vignan's Engineering College, which is now called as Vignan University. I learned some interesting things in B.Tech by presenting some papers, participating in competitions like "The Great Minds Challenge" conducted by IBM. I even participated in sports events playing Volley Ball and taking active participation in coordinating activities, improving the leadership qualities, and management skills.

Coming to my work experiences, I worked as a Lab Assistant in National College of Ireland while doing my Masters. The subjects that I dealt with were Server Side Web Technologies, Introduction to Databases, Client Side Web Technologies, etc. And after finishing the Masters degree I started working as a Teaching Assistant there itself. Dealing with the modules Web Application Frameworks using the new programming language called Ruby on Rails(RoR). By God's grace I joined in Lionbridge a Localization and Translation company.
