Project Title: Multi-Core Attributed Grammatical Evolution (MAGE)
Position: PhD Student

I am working as a PhD student in the BDS group. My work currently focus on the effect of variation in the fitness landscape on Evolutionary computation simulation both for direct and open ended evolution.


I am interested in research areas such as : Evolutionary Computing, Artificial Life, Open Ended Evolution, Semantic GP, etc.

I joined the BDS group as a PhD student in 2013 to work, under the supervision of Dr.Conor Ryan, in the field of Evolutionary Computing.I am working on an Science Foundation Ireland(SFI) funded project called Multi-Core Attributed Grammatical Evolution(MAGE). My goal during this research period is to study the effect of variation in the fitness landscape on Evolutionary computation simulation both for direct and open ended evolution. I am very interested in research areas such as : Evolutionary Computing, Artificial Life, Open Ended Evolution, Cellular Automatas.

I successfully finished an Engineer Degree (French equivalent to Master Degree for engineering school) from EFREI (Engineering School of Information and Digital Technologies) in 2007. I also successfully finished Masters LoPhiss - SC2 (Logic, Philosophy, history & sociology of science – Sciences of Cognition & Complex Systems) in 2012.

I have significative experience in french science popularization specifically on audio podcast as a former member of podcastscience (a non-specialized french-speaking podcast about science) and as the creator of vie artificielle (a french podcast focus on artificial life).

Coming to my work experiences, I have more than two years experience as a web developper, as a freelance and as developper for a french service company, Alten, on a project for the french company Orange.
